We had a comfortable and warm room at Framtid Hostel. The bathrooms and facilities were clean, and it felt like they had recently been remodeled. We also appreciated the sufficient pots and pans provided for cooking. The shower had good water pressure and hot water. The kitchen, although not very big, was great during our stay. The hostel itself was quiet and everything we needed was there to make ourselves comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the early working geothermal pool nearby, which was a great way to start the day. The staff were very pleasant and the early checkout process was easy. I would recommend this hostel for a good value stay.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the spacious rooms and the well-equipped kitchen that was open 24/7. It was great to have all the amenities I needed right at my fingertips. The location was also perfect for exploring the South coast, with only a 2-hour drive to Jokulsarlon. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable.
There were a few aspects that I didn't particularly like. The front desk staff could be a bit rude, but I understood that they were multitasking and doing their best to handle both check-ins and restaurant service.

The hostel was more like a small hotel with private rooms and shared facilities. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially during a blizzard when we were stranded in town. The view from our room was stunning, even though the windows could have been cleaner. In terms of amenities, there was ample parking available and a well-equipped kitchen for guests to use.
During peak hours, the shared bathroom and toilet facilities could get quite busy, leading to some waiting time. it was a bit confusing to find the reception as the hotel and apartments were located a short distance from each other.

For the price we paid, we definitely got great value. The room was cozy and had enough space for our luggage. The bathroom was sparkling clean and even had a hair dryer for the ladies. The location was perfect for exploring the South coast and the staff treated us so nicely. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
The breakfast menu could have used some improvement, maybe adding a wider variety of options.

The room for 3 people was cozy and well-equipped. Conveniently located near the town center, yet peaceful at night. Enjoyed the nearby geothermal pool for a refreshing start to the day. Hassle-free check-out and friendly staff. Great value for money.
